Splankna

What to Expect in a Session

Congratulations on taking this important step toward emotional and spiritual healing! If you’re reading this, you’re about to embark on a unique journey that addresses your mind, body, and spirit together. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know for your first Splankna session.

Important Things to Know

This is Christian Ministry
  • Splankna is offered as Christian ministry, not medical or psychological treatment
  • I am not a licensed therapist
  • You should continue any prescribed medications and medical care
  • Always consult your doctor for medical concerns
Confidentiality
  • Your sessions are completely confidential except in cases of:
    • Risk of harm to yourself or others
    • Suspected child or elder abuse
  • You can stop or pause the session at any time if you feel uncomfortable
Physical Touch
  • This approach uses listening prayer
  • You’ll touch specific points on your body when guided to clear emotions
  • You’ll do light tapping with your fingers during forgiveness statements and collarbone statements
  • Everything is done with your full consent.

Listening Prayer Approach

I use Listening Splankna, which relies on prayer and spiritual listening rather than muscle testing. Here’s what to expect:

How it works:

  • During opening prayer, we ask the Holy Spirit to mark out where we will be working in your body’s energy system.
  • I listen to the Holy Spirit to discern what He’s marked out in your body
  • You’ll be invited to listen alongside and share anything you sense God highlighting
  • I receive guidance through various means – feelings, colors, sounds, visual images, or inner knowing about which emotions and body points to address
  • The Spirit guides the entire process through spiritual discernment of what He’s already prepared

What you’ll experience:

  • Collaborative listening as both you and I tune in to God
  • Gentle questioning as I share what I’m sensing
  • Confirmation or redirection as the Spirit clarifies the path forward
  • A sense of God’s presence leading the session through the information He’s already marked out in your system

Don’t worry about “hearing correctly” – God speaks to willing hearts.

Before Your Session

Paperwork and Consent

Before your first session, you’ll need to have completed and submitted:

  • Client Information Sheet – Basic personal information and areas of concern
  • Consent Forms – Confirming your understanding of the nature of Splankna work and agreeing to the terms of service
  • Payment Agreement – Session fees and cancellation policy
Physical Preparation
  • Silence your phone (and notifications) and find a quiet place without distractions
  • Bring an open heart and mind for what God wants to do
  • Wear comfortable clothing – nothing restrictive
  • Have a water bottle handy – staying hydrated helps the process

Most importantly prepare your heart for the work we will be doing with God.

How to Prepare Your Heart

Come with Expectation
  • God wants you whole and is excited about your healing journey
  • Trust the process even if it seems unfamiliar
  • Be open to what God might want to address (it may surprise you!)
Release Control
  • You don’t need to figure everything out beforehand
  • God knows your heart better than you do
  • Let Him lead the session rather than trying to direct it
Practice Self-Compassion
  • Healing is a journey, not a destination
  • Be patient with yourself and the process
  • Celebrate every step forward, no matter how small

What Happens in a Session?

Opening Prayer

Your session will begin with a comprehensive prayer where we will: Submit to God’s leadership for the session, Ask for protection from any enemy interference,Invite the Holy Spirit to guide and direct the work, and Surrender to God’s will for what He wants to address. You don’t need to pray aloud unless you want to – I’ll lead this time.

Once we’ve competed opening prayer and opened the session for work, we take time to discern if there are any barriers preventing us from going straight into the work.

Pray Something Else: Sometimes we need to Pray for Something Else before we really dig into the work. In those instances, there is something specific that the Holy Spirit wants us to pray for protection from or an area where we need to seek additional resources from God.  This could be warfare prayer, breaking specific agreements, or addressing something the Spirit wants to handle first.

Resistant Emotion – An emotion your subconscious is feeling right now about doing the work. This may be something like fear, stubbornness, or dread about the process itself. There are any number of emotions that either of us could be feeling that may block us from the work. We’ll clear any resistant emotions so you feel more willing and able to engage in the session.

CB (Collarbone) Statements  – A specific statement you’ll say while tapping your collarbone points to help your subconscious accept the healing process. Examples include “I accept myself completely, even if nothing changes” or “I am safe to make this change.”

Creative Emotion – When God wants to fill in an emotional resource you’re lacking before we begin. For example, if you’re too depleted in courage or hope to engage in the work, we’ll ask the Holy Spirit to supply that quality directly from His heart into yours.

These elements help ensure you’re emotionally and spiritually prepared for the deeper healing work, removing any internal resistance or filling in what’s needed for a productive session.
As we are working, it is *very* common to encounter additional resistance throughout the session. Remember: your subconscious has spent your entire life trying to ‘protect’ you with these unhealthy strategies, and it won’t stop now.  Consequently, you should expect to utilize these tools throughout the session (and I encourage you to make them part of your every day life).

Where the Work Might Lead

Once we’ve opened the session, we follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to determine where we will be working first.

Emotional Healing Work

This addresses past traumas, negative emotions, and harmful beliefs through several approaches:

  • Healing Algorithms – Tapping while focusing on the problem or negative emotion you want to clear
  • 2nd Order Theme Work addressing resistance patterns that have built up over time around the original trauma.
  • Root Work (1st Order) addressing specific trauma by listening for emotions from specific past experiences
  • Generational work addressing patterns that run in family lines
Algorithms

These are pre-designed tapping sequences for specific issues.

  • Structured protocols for common challenges like anxiety, phobias, grief, or depression
  • Tapping specific body points while focusing on the emotional theme
  • Bilateral movements (like gentle eye movements) to help your brain integrate healing
  • Following the Spirit’s lead through each step of the process
Creative Sets

This focuses on building new positive patterns and emotional states by installing positive emotions and anchoring feelings like peace, confidence, or joy into your system

  • Creative Algorithms – Using tapping sequences with positive imagination and intention
  • Creative Trauma Sets – Imagining past hurts being completely healed and resolved
  • Win Sets – Focusing on victories, successes, and positive outcomes in your life
  • New Sets – Creating entirely new emotional and behavioral patterns

Healing Work

A More In-Depth Understanding of the Process

Healing work may be comprised of any combination of 2nd Order Theme Work, Root Work and/or Generational Work.

All healing work includes the follow elements: Listening for core emotions from specific past experiences, Forgiving those who hurt you (when the Spirit leads), Receiving additional emotions as the Holy Spirit reveals them, Discerning lies or vows you made because of painful experiences and Breaking agreement with false beliefs through prayer.

Some sessions will lead us straight into 1st order work; others requires that we resolve 2nd order themes first.

2nd Order Theme Work

2nd Order Theme Work addresses patterns of resistance that have built up over time around the original trauma. We seek to clear the pathway to make the root trauma more accessible for healing.

Three types of 2nd order themes:

  • Reinforce – repeated experiences that reinforced the original trauma pattern
  • Resist – ways you’ve avoided or blocked healing from the root issue
  • Resolve – destructive attempts you’ve made to try to fix the original problem
1st Order / Root Work

Individual Trauma Set is a Single traumatic moment where the original wound was created. Includes a Core emotion plus secondary emotions (all from the same moment in time), resulting in Lies/vows formed during that experience that need to be broken

1st Order Theme are comprised of multiple similar traumas grouped together (like repeated bullying incidents). 1st order theme includes the same core emotion and secondary emotions across different events throughout life. 1st order themes are the foundation that 2nd order themes have been built upon

Generational Root Work – The consequences of this core trauma were passed down generationally and did not originate from you. See generational work

Generational Work

Three types of issues passed down through bloodlines:

  • Generational Curses, which is when an ancestor’s sin has brought a curse on the family line. You’ll clear emotions and break the curse off the bloodline.
  • Generational Agreements, which is when an ancestor made a destructive agreement affecting the whole family. You’ll Confess on their behalf and break that agreement off the lineage
  • Generational Strongholds, which is when everyone in the bloodline bought into the same destructive pattern. Generational strongholds require Personal repentance because you also participated
